ধর্মীয় ভাবগাম্ভীর্যের মধ্য দিয়ে উদযাপিত হয়েছে পবিত্র ঈদ-উল আযহা। ত্যাগ, কোরবানি ও মহান আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের বার্তা নিয়ে মুসলিমদের অন্যতম প্রধান ধর্মীয় উৎসব ঈদ-উল আযহা উপলক্ষে দেশটির বিভিন্ন স্থানে ছিল উৎসবের আমেজ।
ঈদ উপলক্ষে কুয়েতের বিভিন্ন মসজিদে ভোর ৫টা ৫ মিনিটে ঈদের জামাত অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এতে লাখো ধর্মপ্রাণ মুসল্লি অংশগ্রহণ করেন। ছোট-বড়, শিশু-কিশোর, যুবক ও বয়স্কসহ নানা শ্রেণি-পেশার মানুষ ঈদের জামাতে অংশ নিয়ে মহান আল্লাহর দরবারে দোয়া ও মোনাজাত করেন।
নামাজ শেষে মুসল্লিরা একে অপরের সঙ্গে কোলাকুলি করে ঈদের শুভেচ্ছা বিনিময় করেন। একই সঙ্গে বিশ্ব মুসলিম উম্মাহর শান্তি, সমৃদ্ধি, মানবকল্যাণ কামনায় দোয়া ও মোনাজাত করেন।
প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরাও উৎসাহ-উদ্দীপনার মধ্য দিয়ে ঈদ উদযাপন করেন। পরিবার-পরিজন থেকে দূরে থাকলেও তারা নিজেদের মধ্যে আনন্দ ভাগাভাগি করে নেন এবং দেশের মানুষের জন্য দোয়া করেন। পবিত্র ঈদ-উল আযহাকে কেন্দ্র করে কুয়েতে বসবাসরত বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটির মধ্যেও ছিল উৎসবের আবহ।
